Care and Storage

About the materials...
The earrings are made from polymer clay, which is non-toxic PVC. Polymer clay is lightweight, durable and strong, but it still needs to be cared for correctly to avoid breakage by improper storage, particularly those delicate designs.

Cleaning of polymer clay and resin is easy by using a damp cloth with water.
Ideally, avoid earrings coming into contact with hairspray, makeup and perfume as they could cause discolouration of jewellery.

Some of the range of Bella and Bliss Design earrings contain brass highlights which should be either stored in an airtight container or zip lock bag, to assist you in avoiding tarnishing over time due to them being exposed to oxygen.

Gold plated brass elements can be polished with a jewellery polishing cloth. A brass cleaner can also be used.

Earrings are water-resistant but not waterproof. I recommend not getting them wet wherever possible.

Earring posts, hoops and hooks
Bella and Bliss Design uses only surgical steel material for their posts, hoops and hooks unless otherwise stated on individual earring designs.

Surgical stainless steel is great. However, we do not take responsibility if you have an allergic reaction or medical issue from them. They are also highly resistant to corrosion, making it very easy to care for. It also does not attract bacteria and can be sterilised.

Safety Warning...
Please do not allow any small children to play with, wear or chew on your jewellery. They are not for teething purposes and will break when chewed on, leading to potential choking hazard.
